BRUCE ANDERSON, NORTH DAKOTA STATE
North Dakota State every year has draftable prospects and this year the tradition continues with running back Bruce Anderson. Being a part of three national championship teams in his four years in Fargo, Anderson has played a lot of competitive football at the lower level FCS program North Dakota State.

Nifty with his feet with the ball in his hands, Anderson has good receiving and good balance with decent acceleration and power. Not a great blocker in the passing game (struggled mightily during the Senior Bowl week), Anderson is the type of player that could do well in the more pass happy, wide open NFL.
Anderson worked well behind a very good offensive line, opening holes and moving lineman out of his way, so questions to a degree remain to be seen about his ability to find holes in the defense.
Anderson has a skill set that somewhat resembles current Chiefs back Damien Williams in his ability to run outside and his ability to catch the ball with almost wide receiver type skills. Anderson likely could play a complimentary/along side type roll to Williams, allowing the Chiefs to use perhaps both on the field together while also allowing the offense the continue with a similar game plan regardless of who is on the field.
