What other positions do the Chiefs need to look at in this draft?

More from Chiefs Draft Analysis

Other positions that may be addressed could be offensive tackle. There could be a use for a developmental swing tackle as both Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz are not getting any cheaper or younger.

Derrick Nnadi, Xavier Williams and Chris Jones are nice depth at defensive tackle, but both Williams and Jones are free agents after the 2019 season. Could a late round tackle be brought in to provide depth at an important position?

Also, don’t discount a late round pick on a punter. Dustin Colquitt is also not getting any younger or cheaper. For team facing a salary crunch and a lot of big time free agents in the next couple seasons, finding some money by changing punters may be something the organization looks at.
