Indianapolis Colts (10-6 record, 6th overall seed)

If we’re being honest, this is a team that scares the crap out of me most when it comes to bad match-ups for the Chiefs. Setting these two franchises history aside, the Colts are the perfect team to upset the Chiefs in the divisional round.

Young General Manager Chris Ballard, formerly of the Chiefs, has done a phenomenal job in his two short years with the franchise. His hiring of head coach Frank Reich has been nothing short of excellent for Andrew Luck and he’s also drafted studs like Quenton Nelson, Darius Leonard, and Quincy Wilson.

With Reich calling the plays and designing the offense, Luck seems to have found his groove again completing 67% of his passes for 4,500 yards and 39 touchdowns.  The Colts have also woken up the uber talented tight end, Eric Ebron who has been sleep walking through his career up until this point.

Luck and the gang can create a ton of problems for the Chiefs and their secondary. Partner that with their big bad offensive line, and the Colts could easily expose the Chiefs defense the entire game.

For the Chiefs to win this game I feel like they would have to force the Colts into a track meet race to 40 points. The Colts play better defense than the Chiefs, but if Bob Suttons group could force Luck into some interceptions, which he has been susceptible to at times, then that might just be enough to get it done.
