These players have been disappointing, but there’s still time to change that for sure.

I also thought about including Demarcus Robinson and Mitch Morse, but left them off. Morse has had injury problems throughout his career, but the Chiefs offensive line could really use him during this stretch of the season.

As for Robinson, he’s a fourth receiver at best, so expecting a ton from him really isn’t fair. He has just 11 receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown so far this season, but we saw him and Patrick Mahomes gel well during past preseasons, so I think we were all hoping that carried over into this season.

For the most part, the Chiefs have been a REALLY good team. They’re 9-2 and could very well be on their way to the number one overall seed in the AFC. Justin Houston seems to be healthy and the pass rush looks as good as it has in years, which is certainly a good sign.

The run defense has been awful and those guys need to step it up, especially since some were given pretty good contracts to come in here and make a difference. Eric Berry is the most disappointing player though due to the fact that he has yet to play a single down. The Chiefs need him desperately yet we’ve rarely heard anything about him this year. It’s a weird situation.

Hopefully these players step up and the Kansas City Chiefs can go on a tear over these next few months!
