SIT ‘EM
- Quarterback – Marcus Mariota vs Cowboys
- Running Back – Austin Ekeler vs Seahawks
- Wide Receiver – Mohamed Sanu vs Redskins
- Tight End – Jordan Thomas vs Broncos
- Defense/Special Teams – New Orleans vs Rams
Looking at the Start ‘Ems, Mitchell Trubisky has become a surprisingly reliable starting quarterback in fantasy football and he’s done a lot of damage with his legs in recent weeks. That makes him a great option against a Bills defense, who hasn’t been all that great.
Latavius Murray gets to face a vulnerable Lions run defense. Julian Edelman is set up to have a nice game against a Packers secondary that has gotten torched by slot receivers. Jimmy Graham hasn’t been a great option in fantasy football thus far, but he’s due for a breakout game against a Patriots defense that isn’t all that good against tight ends. The Redskins defense should also be able to slow down the Falcons fiery offense.
As for the Sit ‘Ems, Marcus Mariota is becoming a staple in that category. The Cowboys defense is solid at home, meaning Mariota could be in for a long night. Austin Ekeler might have been a popular waiver wire pickup early in the year, but he doesn’t have a favorable match-up in Seattle.
Mohamed Sanu might have a tough time making noise against a Redskins secondary that now has Josh Norman and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Jordan Thomas did some damage against the Dolphins last week, but that success being replicated isn’t the likeliest of scenarios. Lastly, bench the Saints defense against one of the best offenses in the game.
Hopefully my advice ends up being solid this week! Good luck in week nine everyone!
