The NFL had the right idea pitting two California teams against each other who don’t play each other much other on primetime. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out as Jimmy Garoppolo was injured in week three and the Raiders are a dumpster fire in year one of the Jon Gruden experiment.
The only decent 49ers for this game are Matt Breida and George Kittle while the rest are ones you’ll want to keep on the ol’ bench. As for the Raiders, Jared Cook is the best player on the team. Derek Carr is a toss-up, but there are better options over the weekend, so Carr isn’t a must start this week.
There are only two wins combined between these two teams and that doesn’t really set up the viewers for a highly competitive football game. Even if you do have players on your fantasy football teams from this one, this game isn’t worth watching whatsoever.
Hopefully my advice serves you well! Good luck this week everyone!
