KANSAS JAYHAWKS

The likeliest remaining win on K-State’s schedule is their in-state rivals, the Kansas Jayhawks. Some thought that the Jayhawks may have fired their head coach by this point, but a somewhat promising start with wins over Rutgers and Central Michigan gave KU the most excitement its had in a long time.

More from KC Kingdom

Since then, however, the Jayhawks have fallen back to expected awfulness. While they are not as bad as they may have been in years past, they are still really bad and likely lose by double digits every game going forward. This is a game K-State should win, though it might be closer than in years past.

TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS

Texas Tech has had a surprising season thus far with road victories over Oklahoma State and TCU on their resumé. However, the Red Raiders generally struggle in Manhattan (K-State has won the last three games in Manhattan vs TTU) and on Senior Day, it’s hard to imagine the Cats not coming to play.

As Tech goes on, we will start to learn can they play with the physicality needed to defeat the Wildcats.

TCU

Kansas State has struggled on the road this season, proving that point against a Baylor team that can’t stop the run yet still came up short. TCU, despite their recent struggles, is a far more physical team than Baylor or even Oklahoma State.

K-State has lost three of their last four against TCU, but they’re due for a win against the Horned Frogs, plus this game could decide whether or not the Cats are going bowling in December.
