Mizzou Football: Report Card vs Georgia Bulldogs in week four
Once again, Georgia got the best of Missouri and went for the sweep of Drew Lock during his college career.
This game could have been a winnable one for the Tigers, but they couldn’t hold onto the football and that proved to be the difference. These two teams always play each other tough, but Georgia got the last laugh once again.

Mizzou has two weeks to think about this game, as they have next weekend off. Their next game will take place against the South Carolina Gamecocks and it’ll be on their home field. South Carolina was ranked at one point this year, so they’re no slouch.
I never advise looking ahead, but after the Gamecocks, the Tigers will have to travel once again. That second road trip will be in Tuscaloosa against the reigning National Champions. That’s going to be a really tough game for Missouri, especially if they turn the ball over four times like they did against Georgia.
Even though it might be a “millennial” type of thinking, I was proud of the fight the Tigers showed in this one. They could have given up when trailing 27-7, but they stayed optimistic and fought back. Unfortunately their defense was so worn down in the second half.
Enjoy next Saturday off Tiger fans! These next two games will be incredible grueling for this Mizzou football squad.
