Mother Nature doesn’t care about the anticipation of the 2018 season for Nebraska Football. Severe weather pushes back Scott Frost’s debut.

Many believe that Nebraska Football is on the verge of becoming a legitimate contender. The weather could care less. The opening game at Memorial Stadium was canceled due to severe weather Saturday Night.

There has yet to be a rescheduled date for the game between the Akron Zips and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Fans will need to wait another week before they see what Frost and his Cornhuskers can do.

This is the first time in 128 years that Nebraska has had to cancel a game due to weather, according to the Journal Star.

Scott Frost practically brought his entire UCF staff with him when he accepted the job at his alma mater, where he starred as a player. The excitement and buzz have been refreshing to many Cornhusker fans, who believe times are about to change.
