Kansas Basketball: Jayhawks go undefeated in 2018-19 with Bold Prediction
By Chris Taylor
Kansas Basketball possibly has the most loaded roster in the school’s history. The preseason favorite will ride that wave through the Final Four.
That’s right. The Jayhawks will go undefeated this season. Not only will they go unbeaten, but they will mow over the competition. Let’s face it, anything less will be a huge disappointment for Kansas Basketball.
Bill Self has had some big-time squads over his tenure coaching Kansas Basketball. There has never been such a deep, talented team in Kansas history as the team coach has the privilege of coaching this year.
To add salt to the college basketball wound, Lagerald Vick is on his way back for his senior year. This decision makes an already impressive squad that much sweeter.

The Jayhawks return as one of four teams to make the Final Four last season, and even though three of the starters have moved on to NBA careers, the roster is absolutely ridiculous.
Kansas has won the Big12 14 straight seasons. They have won 23 or more games for 29 straight seasons. For 24 straight seasons, they have won at least 11 games in conference. Since Bill Self has arrived, they’ve never won fewer than 23 games and never won fewer than 12 games in conference.
That is total domination. That is perhaps one of the greatest feats in all of the sports world.
So why make such a bold prediction? One reason, it is the most likely scenario for the Kansas Jayhawks.
Sure, there are other teams that have rosters that impress. Duke landed the top three incoming freshmen, Kentucky has another group of one and done guys ready to play for Calipari. The defending champs, Villanova, will be ready to play under head coach Jay Wright. North Carolina will be tough once again, as always with Roy Williams on the sidelines.
The difference is, not one of these teams have the talented depth that Kansas has. Like I said before, Kansas has never had this type of depth. If the first five off the bench were to make up their own team, they would be in the top 25 as well. It’s unreal and should be a heck of a ride.
Let’s get down to business, as we look at the roster and schedule for the 2018-19 Kansas Jayhawks.
