Before Andy Reid came to Kansas City, the Chiefs were pretty irrelevant. They were seldom featured in primetime games and rarely made the postseason. Now, they’re playoff contenders every year.

More from KC Kingdom

There have been a lot of great games for the Kansas City Chiefs under Andy Reid. Sure, some of them weren’t necessarily BECAUSE of him, but he’s a huge reason as to why the team has turned things around over the last half decade.

Most of these games were included due to the game itself being exciting, but some had key moments, like the debut of Patrick Mahomes or awesome performances from certain players. Even though just one playoff win has come under Reid, the regular seasons have been enjoyable since he took over.

While the big argument with Andy Reid is that he’s too conservative in crunch time and hasn’t led the Chiefs to much playoff success, he’s certainly better than what the Chiefs had at head coach for a long time. The Chiefs were irrelevant and forgotten about after the Schottenheimer era ended, but Reid has made them relevant and worth watching again. That’s not something fans should take for granted.

Hopefully some playoff wins can be added to this list in the future, but until then, these are more exciting games than Chiefs fans had for a long time after Mary Schottenheimer left.
