Kansas City Chiefs: Ten players who must have big seasons in 2018
No one should be shocked to see Patrick Mahomes at the top of this list. The quarterback is the most important position on the field and with this being Mahomes’ first year at the helm, he has to set the bar high.

Chiefs fans probably aren’t thinking Super Bowl this year, but if all ten of these players mentioned in the article have an above average to tremendous season, the Chiefs will undoubtedly be one of the best teams in the league. Some players’ success is more important than others obviously.
For instance, yes, Mahomes has to have a good year. Due to their salaries, guys like Justin Houston, Sammy Watkins, and Eric Berry have to step it up this year too, to merit that they’re worth all of that dough.
Finally, we come to some of the lesser known players like Kendall Fuller and Mitch Morse, whose success is important, but not required. Fuller showed flashes of potential with the Redskins and Morse was good early in his career, but this year is a true test for both players.
