The Kansas City Chiefs face some pretty formidable opponents in 2018. Here is a breakdown of the games that deserve to be played under the lights.

Earlier in the week, it was announced by ESPN Mexico that the Kansas City Chiefs and the L.A. Rams would face off on Monday Night Football in Mexico City, November 19th. This should be a huge game with all sorts of side stories to go with it. There are plenty of other games on the Chiefs list that have the potential to be selected for primetime games.

The Chiefs, of course, are putting out a product with many questions and lots of high hopes. Alex Smith, Marcus Peters, Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali, and others are gone. Kendall Fuller, Sammy Watkins, Anthony Hitchens, and David Amerson have moved in. Then there is Patrick Mahomes, the gunslinger everyone is talking about.

If Patrick Mahomes is what fans want him to be, the Chiefs will be watched by many. People will tune in just the same as they tuned in to see Deshaun Watson play last year. Besides the fact that Mahomes should be a fantasy stud that you can get cheap this season.

There are plenty of questions about the Chiefs defense, but the offense should be one for the ages.

Loaded with superstars and talent, the Chiefs will bring something fans haven’t seen for quite some time, although they did get a small glimpse of it last season. Action.

Kansas City will get their share of games under the lights, I’m guessing they will be looking at four more other than the Mexico City game. Too much talent and intrigue following this seasons’ Chiefs to not grab the attention of the national media.

There is, of course, the chance of playing one or two against division rivals, which may happen but I won’t list here. Let’s jump right in and see which games deserve it.
