5 reasons the Chiefs will make the Super Bowl

#4 Sooner or later

Sooner or later the Kansas City Chiefs have to climb over that playoff hump. As uncanny as a season this was for not only the Chiefs, but the NFL as well, why would the craziness stop now? The Chiefs can beat good teams, they’ve proven it this season and in years past.

Their exits from the playoffs in recent years has been brutal. The comeback win from Indy, coming up short against the Patriots and a penalty keeping the Chiefs from going to overtime against Pittsburgh. The point is that the Chiefs were in those games, and they competed.

Sports is a funny thing some times. It brings us together and a the same time splits us apart. The unthinkable happens. Especially in the NFL playoffs. Imagine the chaos that would ensue if Kansas City made the Super Bowl. In a season that will see many of the staff leave for better, higher paying jobs as well as a guy named Alex Smith.

Smith is a crucial part of the turnaround Andy Reid has done here in Kansas City. Chiefs football is relevant again. Smith has always been unappreciated and always became the scapegoat for the Chiefs failures. He is likely to be throwing in a different uniform next season, but what would happen if he takes the Chiefs to the Super Bowl?
