It seems like forever ago since the Kansas City Chiefs last played a football game, but now they’ll get the lowly Giants in week 11. What did Madden predict would happen?

In the last Madden simulation, the Kansas City Chiefs were predicted to lose a close game to the Cowboys. The game was all Dallas early, but the Chiefs made a comeback in the second half. The real game saw the Cowboys lead pretty much the entire time, and minus a “Hill Mary”, the Chiefs couldn’t get much going offensively.

It’s been an eternity since that Chiefs/Cowboys game in week nine (or has felt like an eternity anyway), but now Kansas City has a chance to get back on track against the Giants. New York isn’t a good football team, only recording one win so far this season.

What crazy things did Madden predict for this week’s match-up? Let’s take a look.

GIANTS STATS

This was a boring game, but that’s just fine for Chiefs fans, as long as it’s a boring game that results in a victory. The Chiefs rely heavily on Kareem Hunt in this one and he delivers beautifully, rushing for nearly 150 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs secondary continues to struggle, however, allowing Eli Manning to throw for nearly 300 yards, most of them going to Sterling Shepard. Shepard torches Kansas City and he’s not even the biggest star on the Giants team. That would be a terrible outing by the secondary if this is what really occurs.

While the Kansas City Chiefs are 6-3 on the season so far, this recent stretch of games has fans down in the dumps a bit. A blowout win over the Giants would cure what’s ailing Chiefs Kingdom, but it’d be discouraging to see Manning have this type of game and for Shepard to completely smoke the secondary.

This should be a victory for the Chiefs, but there’s a reason why the games are played each week and it’s because anything can happen in sports. Kansas City has a lot of advantages going their way, however, and that should lead to them putting the smackdown on the G-Men.
