Kansas City Chiefs: Madden Simulation for Week 9 vs Cowboys
The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the win column after winning on Monday Night Football over the Broncos. Next up are the Dallas Cowboys. How does Madden think this game will turn out?
Through eight weeks of the season, Madden is 3-5 when predicting Kansas City Chiefs game results. One of its three wins was last week’s, where it said the Chiefs would beat the Broncos.
In that sim, Madden projected a three-point Chiefs victory (they won by ten) and that the good guys would be trailing 24-10 in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs led the entire time.
Madden didn’t do well when predicting the stats, as it pegged Alex Smith and Trevor Siemian to both go over 300 yards. That was definitely not the case. Smith threw 202 yards while Siemian passed for just 198 (most of it in garbage time) with three interceptions.

Kareem Hunt didn’t have as good a night as Madden said he would, only tallying 46 yards on the night. Travis Kelce did continue on with his torching of the Broncos though. Madden also nailed that C.J. Anderson would have a good night, though he didn’t find the end zone.
What does the video game have in store for the KC Chiefs in their upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys? Let’s take a look.

COWBOYS STATS

The Cowboys buried the Chiefs early on in this one, putting up 20 points in the second quarter alone. Kansas City got back in it in the second half, however, but their run defense continues to be a problem.
Now that we know Zeke will indeed be playing, all eyes will be on the Chiefs run defense. I personally believe he will score more than just one touchdown and will get close to the 200 yard mark.
It’s good to see that Madden predicts good things to continue for the KC offense though. Alex Smith should have a good game in Arlington and hopefully Kareem Hunt can get hot running the football again.
What do you think, Chiefs fans? Does this simulation seem realistic to you?
