The Kansas City Chiefs have lost their last two games, but the Madden simulation predicted them to win both of those. Will it have a good prediction for this week’s game against the Denver Broncos?

Kansas City Chiefs fans would have gladly taken what Madden simulated to happen in the Chiefs/Raiders game last week than what actually took place in the Black Hole. The sim predicted a 20-14 Kansas City victory and for Alex Smith to throw for just 165 yards and a touchdown.

Instead, the Chiefs lost 31-30 and Smith threw for over 300 yards with three touchdowns. Travis Kelce had a touchdown, but not nearly the type of production that the game predicted him to have. Kareem Hunt also didn’t score a touchdown. The biggest game weapon wise was from Tyreek Hill, who Madden didn’t even list stats on.

So, what did the ol’ video game have envisioned for this week’s Monday night match-up between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos? Let’s take a look.

Well, Madden has the Chiefs winning, but it doesn’t look like they have much confidence in the KC defense to turn things around. Madden thinks that Siemian will continue to carve up this Chiefs secondary, throwing for over 300 yards and a touchdown in the process.

Demaryius Thomas has a huge game at Arrowhead, going over the 120 yard receiving mark and finding the end zone. C.J. Anderson will also get going in a game that looks to be a shootout at Arrowhead.

It’s worth noting that the Broncos had a 24-10 lead entering the fourth quarter, but the Chiefs battled back up put up 17 points in the final quarter to win the game. The Chiefs have played well in the fourth quarter this season, so that actually seems realistic. Hopefully if it comes down to one play, the Chiefs are on offense this time rather than defense.

Both the Chiefs and the Broncos are riding two-game losing streaks and this is a must win game for both sides. I will say, however, that if Siemian has this kind of performance against Kansas City, then the defense could be beyond saving.
