Kansas City Chiefs: Madden Simulation for Week 4 Vs Redskins
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football this week. How does Madden think this game will go?
With a 3-0 start under their belts, the Kansas City Chiefs will now shift their attention to the Washington Redskins of the NFC East. It’s Kansas City’s second game against the NFC East this year and they get the luxury of having this one at Arrowhead and under the bright lights of primetime.
While the Chiefs have been hot this year, the Madden simulation hasn’t been. It’s only 1-2 so far when predicting these games with the lone win coming a week ago. In that simulation, Madden predicted the Chiefs would win 32-29. They won 24-10, but the game wasn’t as dominant as the score would indicate.

Madden saw a big game for Alex Smith, but instead he had a typical Alex Smith day, throwing for 150 yards and two scores. Kareem Hunt had a big day, which is becoming the norm. The biggest miss was that Travis Kelce would go on a tear against the Chargers, but instead had one reception for just one yard.

Oh, and Madden predicted that Philip Rivers wouldn’t throw any picks. He threw three interceptions. Perhaps it just mixed up the Eagles and the Chargers games, as it said Carson Wentz would throw three picks in week two. Whoops!
What crazy things did Madden predict for this upcoming Chiefs game?

This was a tie game in the fourth quarter, but Cousins left the game with an injury and did not return. The Chiefs ended up pulling away thanks in part to Hill and Kelce, who both had good games.
Smith had a typical Smith day with no touchdowns or interceptions on his resumé. Kareem the dream had another tremendous outing, which isn’t surprising anyone at this point. Justin Houston is also back to his 2014 form and wrecking havoc all over the field.
As for Washington, Cousins was having a decent day before having to leave with an injury. Kelley was running pretty well against the KC defense and found the end zone once. The other two key factors were Josh Doctson and Jordan Reed, both of whom Redskins fans have been waiting to see break out this season.
After watching the Redskins smack the Oakland Raiders around, I’m a little more worried about this game than I initially thought I’d be. The Chiefs have had Washington’s number throughout history, only losing to them one time (that being in 1983) and this should be a hard fought game for both teams.
What are your predictions for this game, Chiefs fans?
