The 2-0 Kansas City Chiefs head west for a divisional match-up against the Los Angeles Chargers. Here is all the gameday information you will need.

It has been an impressive start to the 2017 season for the Kansas City Chiefs so far. The Chiefs are sitting at 2-0 with impressive wins over the Patriots and Eagles. This week they are headed to Los Angeles for the first time since the 1994 season. There they will take on the 0-2 Chargers in an AFC West match-up.

Kansas City comes into this week as the favorites. Their early season victories have gotten a lot of attention from pundits and analysts. The Chiefs are currently ranked in the top five of every major sports publication. That’s a new feeling for KC fans who are used to the team being overlooked by the media.

On the other end of things, the Chargers are desperately looking for a win right now. Having both of their losses decided by three points or less, LA is at a point where they need some kind of a spark. That is especially true if they want to boost up their embarrassing attendance numbers from the season opener last week.

The Kansas City Chiefs come into this game as the favorites. Here are the predictions for this week’s game from the KC Kingdom staff.

Ben Almquist: Chiefs 31 – Chargers 20

Despite the talent on their roster, it feels to me like the Chargers are close to falling off the edge. Close losses, no fans, and another year of big injuries. I just don’t see how they can match up to the Chiefs this week, so give me Kansas City in a game not as close as the final score.

Leigh Oleszczak: Chiefs 21 – Chargers 28

More from Kansas City Chiefs

This game scares me. I know the Chiefs have swept the Chargers the last three years, but this just screams trap game to me. The Chargers are due for a win against KC and they’re due for a win this year.

Chris Taylor: Chiefs 34 – Chargers 14

Kansas City pulls away in the second half as Kareem Hunt has another great game, making fantasy owners happy. Expect Kansas City’s first special teams touchdown late in the game. They’re over due. (Looking at you Akeem Hunt).

Joel Wagler: Chiefs 28 – Chargers 27

Close game throughout,  but a fourth quarter comeback on the road by the Chiefs will help the Chargers fall by less than a field goal margin for the third straight week.

Garrett Coleman: Chiefs 41 – Chargers 20

This is going to be a fun game to watch. A few talking heads at different networks have picked the Chargers to upset the Chiefs this weekend. Not going to happen. Alex Smith and the high flying offense will walk into the Chargers stadium full of Chiefs fans and leave with a win. Look for Kareem Hunt to have another big day.

Jake Barbee: Chiefs 31 – Chargers 14

I’ll finally pick the chiefs to win, very impressive start by Kansas City and their exceptional start only continues from here. Chargers are the weaker team and very far off from the rest of their division.

The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a great start to their 2017 season. The Los Angeles Chargers look to be headed in the opposite direction. This game shouldn’t be taken lightly by the Chiefs, and I sincerely doubt that it will be. However, there is little doubt in my mind that KC is the better team this week.
