The Kansas City Chiefs are now 2-0 as they prepare for a week three match-up against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Kansas City Chiefs won both of their first two games this season and NFL experts don’t quite seem to know what to make of them. Just how good are the Chiefs and where do they stack up against the rest of the league?

Despite beating the Patriots in week one in New England, FanSided.com writer Russell S. Baxter has the Chiefs ranked fourth, and the Patriots are sitting at number oneSports Illustrated, on the other hand, has the Chiefs firmly entrenched in the top spot. Bleacher Report has the Chiefs number, behind the Patriots, despite that week one win by Kansas City.

While no one can agree exactly where the Chiefs should be ranked, everyone seems to think they are one of the top teams in the league through the first couple of weeks of the 2017 season.

The AFC West looks to be the elite division in the NFL thus far. The Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders join the Chiefs at 2-0, and though the Chargers haven’t won a game yet, they missed a field goal in the waning minutes of both games that would have won those games for them.

The Chiefs match-up with the Chargers this week, playing them in their new home city, Los Angeles, for the first time.

Lastly, the Chiefs, their fans, and Arrowhead Stadium came through in a big way when an Eagles fan praised the fans and atmosphere during his visit Sunday at Arrowhead. The fans in Kansas City are the best, and even fans of opposing teams are appreciative!

Chiefs have a chance at numerous awards this season – Bleacher Report

"We can’t go more than one award without honoring a Chief, so it’s time to once again pay tribute to Smith. The Kansas City Chiefs can go 3-0 this week and at the same time bury the Chargers at 0-3. It won’t be easy. Philip Rivers can get his team downfield almost at will, and the Chargers defense has some talented athletes lining up. If the Chiefs can win again on the road, their stock won’t fall in the power rankings!
