While it’s tough to get real hyped up about Kansas football, hopefully the Jayhawks are going down a better road here soon.

Reliving these good wide receivers has to make fans miss the “hey day” of Kansas football. Back when the Jayhawks were in the Orange Bowl and had some of the best offensive production imaginable, man those were the days!

It’s been awhile since KU has sniffed relevancy in football, but head coach David Beaty has them on the right track. Perhaps a wide receiver from the current team will find his way on this list in the coming years? The 15th spot on this list had just shy of 1,500 yards, which isn’t insurmountable should a Jayhawk receiver have two good seasons on the field.

At the end of the day though, it’s a shame that KU can’t field a more competitive team, but better times should be arriving soon hopefully. Perhaps Carter Stanley or Peyton Bender can find targets they like and put up some big numbers this year so we can get a more recent guy on this list!
