Kansas City Chiefs: Predicting result of every game in 2017
After all 16 regular season games, I have the Kansas City Chiefs slated to go 11-5 in 2017. That should result in a playoff spot and should hopefully get them a second straight AFC West title!
I’m sure there are a few games on here that people are going to nag at me for (mainly the first Chargers one), but teams don’t always win games they’re supposed to win. On the flip side of that, teams also win games they aren’t supposed to win!

A year ago, the Chiefs fell to both the Buccaneers and Titans, two teams who they really should have beaten. Instead, the Chiefs more than made up for it by knocking off the Falcons and Panthers, with one of those teams appearing in the Super Bowl last season.
I picked the Chiefs to go 4-2 in the AFC West, which I thought was pretty generous. There is no way they’re going 6-0 again with how tough this division is. They’ll lose at least one game to the Raiders and will drop at least one other AFC West battle (I said one of those would come against the Chargers).
The toughest stretch of games for the Kansas City Chiefs this year is from weeks 6-11. During that stretch, the Chiefs will face the Steelers, Raiders, Broncos, Cowboys, and Giants. Shoot, you could even throw in the Texans from week five in there as well since it’ll be a primetime game in Houston.

That stretch of games will show us what this Chiefs team is made of. I have them going 3-3 in that span (if we’re counting Houston), which would be manageable. From there, things will get much easier.
What do you think, Chiefs fans? What do you think the team’s final record will be in 2017 and will it be good enough for a playoff spot?
