Dayton Moore has sent the message all season long that he believed in this group and wanted to give them the best shot at contending. The deal he pulled off on Monday with acquiring three pitchers AND sending Travis Wood away was impressive (yes, even if the Royals have to eat that money on Wood’s contract).
I’m really excited to see what these 2017 Royals are capable of as we hit the home stretch. Will it all end with a World Series championship and another awesome parade in downtown Kansas City? We don’t know the answer to that question yet, but I’m sure these boys in blue will make the final months of the season as fun as ever.
