FIVE TOUGHEST GAMES FOR 2017 SEASON – NUMBER 5: NEW YORK GIANTS

I included the New York Giants on this list because we saw just how good this team can be when they’re at their peak. Last year was a terrific year for the Giants defense, as they allowed the second fewest points per game, according to The Football Database.

Something swinging in Kansas City’s favor, however, is that they’ll be coming off their bye week heading into this game.

The last time the Chiefs played the Giants was in the 2013 season when this current Chiefs nucleus was just forming and the Chiefs won in a blowout 31-7. That was the first time the Chiefs had defeated the Giants since the 1995 season. Yikes.

I don’t see this game being nearly that big of a margin, as the Giants were also a playoff team last year and have seemingly had Kansas City’s number over the years.

New York will be heading into year two of the Ben McAdoo experiment and will still be riding that stout defense. This game will be at MetLife Stadium on November 19th, meaning we’ll have a pretty clear understanding of how these two teams will look by that point.

Something swinging in Kansas City’s favor, however, is that they’ll be coming off their bye week heading into this game. That’s definitely good news, as the Chiefs will need all of the help they can get when facing the Giants this season.
