FIVE TOUGHEST GAMES FOR 2017 SEASON – NUMBER 4: OAKLAND RAIDERS

The Chiefs, as always, play the Oakland Raiders twice a year, but the tougher game will come on the road in week seven. The biggest reason this game could become a loss for the Chiefs is that it’s a Thursday Night Football game, and the road team seldom wins those affairs.

The only reason I didn’t stick this game higher up was because it’s against the Raiders, who the Chiefs have OWNED over the years.

The Chiefs will have a super tough game the week prior (more on that later) and then will have a short week before taking on the hated Raiders in the Black Hole.

Even when the Raiders were a bad team, the Chiefs still lost on the road there in Thursday Night Football in 2014. In fact, that was the Raiders’ first win that season. Now that the Raiders are one of the better teams in the AFC, this surely will be a loss for our Chiefs.

The only reason I didn’t stick this game higher up was because it’s against the Raiders, who the Chiefs have OWNED over the years. Kansas City has swept Oakland the past two seasons and appear to be Derek Carr‘s kryptonite.

Even last year when Carr was thought of to be the frontrunner for NFL MVP, the Chiefs made people rethink that statement. He has severely struggled against the Chiefs and that’s why I couldn’t put this any higher than number four.
