The KC Chiefs have the second toughest schedule in the entire NFL this upcoming season. That makes a second straight AFC West title pretty difficult, but it is definitely manageable, especially with most of last year’s team returning.

The 2017 season will be a tough one for the Kansas City Chiefs, as they sit with the second toughest schedule heading into the season, according to CBS Sports. Only the Denver Broncos have a tougher slate of games than the Chiefs.

The Chiefs having a difficult schedule has its perks, however, as the team was rewarded with six primetime games for the 2017 season. They also have a Sunday afternoon “main event” game, which means that the Chiefs will be in the spotlight a lot this upcoming season.

All of this means that the national media has finally bought into the Kansas City Chiefs and thinks they’ll be worthy adversaries this year. That’s great news for Chiefs fans, as in years past, the team has been gypped when it comes to the scheduling.

With Kansas City not being a major market, the Chiefs are frequently left out of big games. Last year, however, the nation began to see more and more of the Chiefs, and deservedly so. The Chiefs had struggled in primetime television in years past, but went 3-1 in regular season spotlight games.

So, with all of that said, which five games on the Chiefs’ schedule are going to be the most difficult? Let’s take a look.
