Potential Departures for Next Season
Devonte’ Graham
Devonte’ Graham was a crucial part to the Jayhawks offense last season, and ultimately was their downfall as well. Whenever Devonte’ Graham struggled, the whole team struggled. Whenever Graham could not drain any threes, Kansas lost.
Mostly being a counterpart to Frank Mason, Devonte’ Graham knew what to do when his number was called. Now next season, he will have to step up and lead the team he was always co-owner of.
With an average of 13.4 points last season, along with 3.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and a 42.8 field goal percentage per SportsReference, Graham was an offensive power in the number two spot. Now he will take over the first spot on the team, and the Jayhawks success will be on his shoulders.

Devonte’ Graham is a talent on the offensive point position and he is even more talented than Frank Mason. What will dictate how he does next season is if he can enact a better mentality for himself.
Graham has the firepower and the three-point power that can make some stellar performances, but what he needs is to make everyone around him better.
Will He Stay or Will He Go?
Devonte’ Graham will stay. Devonte’ Graham has been built up for the role he will inherit next season, which is being the leader of the Jayhawks. If he departs for the NBA, I will be utterly surprised and shocked. It would make me pretty upset too.
