Unfortunately, those are the only three Wildcats that could be drafted this year. While guys like Dante Barnett and Deante Burton are seniors, they probably won’t be drafted.

Dante Barnett, a great secondary piece for the Cats throughout his five years in Manhattan, could very well make a practice squad, but likely isn’t going to be drafted. His 242 tackles and eight interceptions look nice, but Barnett doesn’t look the part of an NFL safety.

Deante Burton won’t hear his name called either. The four-year wide receiver for K-State football never was the flashy receiver that fans hoped he’d be. His best year was in 2015 when he had 38 receptions for 510 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Not quite NFL stats.

Lastly, Will Davis, who played for four years at Kansas State. Davis only played in three games last season and just isn’t pro material.

Jordan Willis will be the first Cat to be drafted out of KSU and should be able to contribute pretty early on in his career. He was a standout talent at K-State and will hopefully provide the same type of big plays for whatever NFL team selects him.

Elijah Lee will also be drafted, but probably on Day 3. Lee was a playmaker at Kansas State, but probably could have used another year of college ball to prepare him.

Charmeachealle Moore isn’t quite a long shot, but there is a good chance he won’t be chosen. He’ll make it the NFL, but might not make it there via the draft.

What do you think, K-State fans? Am I close with these predictions or do you think I’m wrong about Dante Barnett not being picked?
