The Journey to 13 Straight

Title 13: 2016-2017 Season

More from KC Kingdom

With an all-star freshman in Josh Jackson and a veteran backcourt, this team has extreme promise.

By securing a share of the Big 12 title with a win against TCU, the Jayhawks have added to their illustrious titles in the Big 12 conference. They then won the conference outright by defeating Texas on Saturday.

So far it looks as if this team can go all the way. They just need to make sure they stay on the right path the entire way to the tournament concerning injury and off court issues.

So, will the titles ever stop? Eventually the Big 12 conference title streak will end, but as of now it looks like Bill Self has got his teams convinced to keep it going.

If you were on a KU Basketball team, would you want to be the one team that loses the streak? Intentionally or not, Bill Self has got his players scared to be that one team.

Hopefully this season will end in KU’s first National Championship since 2008.
