Heading into last season, the Chiefs were originally only scheduled to be on Sunday Night Football twice, once against Pittsburgh and against Denver on Christmas. They got flexed into a SNF game in week 12 versus Denver, which gave them three on the season.
Kansas City did not have a Monday night game last year either, which will certainly not happen again this upcoming season. The season before that they played in Green Bay and got walloped by the Packers.
Every team gets to play on Thursday Night Football and unfortunately, the KC Chiefs have had two straight home games for said event. That more than likely means they’ll be hitting the road for a Thursday night game this season, so keep your fingers crossed that it’s early in the season when the team isn’t as beat up.

Playing on the road for a Thursday night game is a quick turnaround and a huge disadvantage, so hopefully the Chiefs play an easier opponent in that game.
