Who To Choose

More from Kansas City Chiefs

It’s clear that the Kansas City Chiefs won’t make their decision on this move until after this week’s game. That is a good sign for a number of reasons. The first of those reasons is that the Chiefs clearly have some level of faith in their depth chart. So far this year, KC has had to rely heavily on their roster to step up, and they are sticking with it now.

The second reason is that this is a good sign is that the Chiefs aren’t rushing into a decision. The worst case scenario in this entire situation is that KC chose a player to bring back and then found out that was the wrong move. By delaying the move a week, Andy Reid and John Dorsey will be able to make a more informed decision.

Of course, the more popular move with fans would be the return of Jamaal Charles. He is one of the most popular players in team history and a dynamic playmaker. Getting him back for the playoffs would mean a lot to the fanbase. However, that doesn’t mean it would be the best move for the team’s chances.

I am currently on the fence regarding this decision. I can see the benefit of either player. However, I may be leaning more towards Justin March at this point simply because I feel the Chiefs will need defensive depth in the playoffs. We will know more after this week’s game against the Titans.
