Kansas City Chiefs: Funny Moments at Training Camp
By Charles Lam
The Kansas City Chiefs mixed in a bit of fun at Training Camp. The Chiefs players joked around on the field a little bit but not too much.
Four of the Kansas City Chiefs five quarterbacks participated in an accuracy game this week. They were: Alex Smith, Tyler Bray, Nick Foles and Aaron Murray. The first player to hit the field goal cross-bar twice won the game.
Kansas City Chiefs Twitter account posted a few highlights of the game. The audio quality stunk so the viewer must read transcript of what was said during the competition. This did not take away from the funny moments on the field.
During the video, Bray tells Foles to “hold up”. Foles stopped in mid form and everyone had a laugh minus Nick. The next throw he tossed came up short. Bray’s mind games worked to perfection.
The best part of the video in my opinion, was watching Alex Smith air it out with accuracy. Sure he hit an immovable target but seeing deep balls from Smith made my heart feel good.
To get the full enjoyment of the hilarity of the videos, please listen with headphones and turn it up for laughs galore.
Here’s a video showing the final results.
Even linebacker Dee Ford and other defensive folks got in on the fun. In the next video, Dee Ford put his trash talking to the test against wide receiver, Jeremy Maclin.

Ford also showed he knows how to count with the best of them in a hands drill with Frank Zombo. They may have made it up but it’s still fun to watch.
Linebacker, Derrick Johnson, just about broke Ford in half. The two collided on a play but all is well because no one got injured.
The best part of the video is where Ford told offensive lineman, Zach Sterup, that he should become a wrestler after his football career is over. I almost died of laughter hearing that come out of Ford’s mouth.
Hopefully Ford will make Kansas City Chiefs fans mouths drop with his play this season. The KC Chiefs will rely on him more this season due to Tamba Hali and Justin Houston‘s injuries.

The fun didn’t stop there. Wide receiver, Chris Conley, joined in on the amusement. He joked with Jeremy Maclin and others.

The topics he spoke about ranged from knees, encouragement talk to Pokemon Go. The video wasn’t available on Twitter but you can view it on the Kansas City Chiefs Facebook page here.
Now that the fun and games are over, the Kansas City Chiefs shift their collective focus onto the Seattle Seahawks game this Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. This will be the first of four preseason games for the KC Chiefs. The game starts at 3:30 Saturday afternoon.

Hopefully Chiefs fans will have something to smile and laugh about when the 2016 season is over. Laughing because the Kansas City Chiefs won the championship in the fans lifetime, would be chuckles of pure happiness.
