2016 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Number 5 – Tyler Eifert

2015 Stats: 52 REC 615 YDS 13 TDS

Tyler Eifert was one of Andy Dalton‘s favorite red zone targets in 2015, piling up 13 touchdown catches. If he’s healthy, he could be a top five fantasy tight end this year.

That’s a big ‘if’ though.

Eifert had surgery in the off-season to fix an ankle injury he suffered in the Pro-Bowl. As of last week, he was still in a protective boot, putting the start of the season in serious jeopardy for the tight end. Eifert missed all but one game in 2014 as well, so some may stay away from him due to injury concern.

Drafting Eifert would be a risk, but if he gets healthy quickly and stays that way, he could put up huge numbers for your fantasy team this season.
