2016 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Number 4 – Jordan Reed

2015 Stats: 87 REC 952 YDS 11 TDS

Jordan Reed played a big role in the Washington Redskins surprising everyone and winning the NFC East last season. He had a breakout season, catching 11 touchdown passes and netting over 950 receiving yards.

The Redskins think he’s one of the top tight ends in the NFL, and they paid him like it, giving him a contract tied for the highest paid tight end in the league.

The Redskins gave Kirk Cousins the franchise tag, leaving him again motivated to have the best season he can in hopes of getting paid next season. If Cousins plays again this season like he did last year, Jordan Reed should be catching a lot of passes for a lot of yards again this year.

Look for his touchdown numbers to go down just a little, but Reed will still be one of the highest drafted tight ends in fantasy this year, and rightfully so. When tight ends start to go off the board, look to snag this guy early and you’ll be set at tight end this season.
