Kansas City might have one of the best defenses in the entire league, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t defenses better than theirs.

More from KC Kingdom

The KC Chiefs’ defense lost a few points this offseason when Sean Smith decided to head to Oakland. Fortunately, they were able to keep Jaye Howard (shockingly), Derrick Johnson, and Tamba Hali.

The Chiefs also drafted Chris Jones in the second round, who very well could end up being Dontari Poe’s replacement after this season.

While the Chiefs have a good defense, they’re still not the best in the league. Denver’s is still great, Houston’s is fantastic, and the Jets really only have their defense to hold onto.

Kansas City’s offense is REALLY going to need to step it up this season because these defenses are going to be tough.
