KC Kingdom Seeking College Football Fans to Join Writing Team

KC Kingdom is the premier Kansas City sports website, covering the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and all three major colleges in the area.
We are always looking for passionate fans to join our writing team. We would love to add writers who are big fans of the Kansas State Wildcats, Kansas Jayhawks, and Missouri Tigers.
Currently, the football teams are gearing up for the 2016 season, and the recruiting push is on across multiple sports. As such, we want to hit each and every season with a head of steam like no other. We need your help to do that.
While we are specifically looking for writers to help us bring top-rate content for the Jayhawks, Wildcats, and Tigers, we have plenty of room for Chiefs and Royals writers as well.
KC Kingdom is currently wanting to fill multiple roles on site, from paid editor positions to staff writer roles for the more casual writers just getting their legs under them.
KC Kingdom is one of the most successful sites in the FanSided family. It reached thousands or readers each day. It is a great platform from which your opinions can be heard.
Expectations
We want our staff to write about the aspects of the team in which they are most passionate. There’s room for those interested in covering football, baseball, or basketball. Maybe you’re more of a recruiting junkie, and you want to talk about the impact a new signing could have. Or even just chipping in with your take on your favorite player’s performance.

Staff writers are asked to contribute at least one to two posts per week. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it.
We know that for most this may be a hobby and something you do for the love of it. That’s why we do it too, as most of us have families, full-time careers, and/or school to balance our lives as well (there’s room for things besides sports, right?).
This is an opportunity to join a staff of writers here who are just simply passionate about teams and schools in the Kansas City area and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base.
For those of you with more writing experience, or for those who can produce quality content on a daily basis, there may be an opportunity for a paid editorial position.
