Are Chiefs fans just biased, or is this the year for our beloved hometown team to finally win the division?

The last time that the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC West was during the 2010 season. They won it with a 10-6 record and Matt Cassel as the quarterback. It was a weird time.

Since that AFC West title in 2010, the Broncos have won it every year. The Chiefs gave them a run for their money last year, but came up just short.

Still though, that one game back of Denver for the division title in 2016 shows that the tides could be turning in 2016. The AFC West could be one of the most competitive divisions in all of the NFL in 2016, and it’ll be interesting to see how everything shakes out.

Maybe the Broncos will win it for the sixth straight year. Maybe the Raiders will prove the analysts right and win their first division title in over a decade. Maybe the Chargers will shock everyone and come out as the leaders. OR… Maybe it very well is time for Kansas City to win the division.
