KC Chiefs Defensive Needs First 2016 NFL Mock Draft
By Bobby Miller
Round 7 | Pick 28: Aaron Morris
With the final pick in KC Kingdom’s latest 2016 NFL Mock Draft, I have the KC Chiefs selecting Aaron Morris.
The good news is that I finally found my guard who specializes in run-blocking. Late in the draft, specialists are a good way to find value through a specific skill set.

The strange part about Morris is that he is not a terrible pass protector based on one of the few pieces of literature I could find on him.
The problem is, aside from being overshadowed by Laremy Tunsil throughout his career at Ole Miss, Morris has torn his left ACL twice already.
Although this is a little concerning, if Morris manages to keep his ACL intact throughout his time with the KC Chiefs, he could also try and replace Laurent Duvernay-Tardif along the interior.
His run-blocking would certainly benefit the KC Chiefs who, according to Football Outsiders, run the ball between the guards a league-leading 71 percent of the time.
Adding a run-blocking presence at guard that can hopefully replace Jeff Allen‘s production would ensure Jamaal Charles has a triumphant return in 2016.
