KC Chiefs Defensive Needs First 2016 NFL Mock Draft
By Bobby Miller
Reflecting On This 2016 NFL Mock Draft
Looking at the players I drafted for the KC Chiefs, I was surprised that I had chosen duplicate positions in three instances.
These players may share their declared position, but they definitely each bring much different skill sets to the table.
As a result of these picks, the holes in the secondary were addressed, the KC Chiefs have three new linebackers to compete for starting spots filled with question marks, the offensive line, at the very least, has received valuable depth, and the KC Chiefs even got an under-valued late round receiver.

There are two ways that this draft could have been approached differently. Firstly, instead of Odhiambo, I could have drafted a prospect who is a more definitive pass-blocking tackle to compete with Fisher.
The second, is that, in the fifth round, Cardale Jones was available to me at both the 23rd and 26th pick.
I may have some bias in this regard, considering I am an Alabama fan and I am still salty that Jones decided to have the game of his life against the Crimson Tide.
Jones beat Alabama fair and square, but, either way, Jones production has not quite been the same throughout the rest of his college career.
Plus, the KC Chiefs still don’t completely know what they have in Aaron Murray and Tyler Bray yet, so I assume that the KC Chiefs would rather save their pick.
This is why I chose to pass on Jones twice, but there are certainly arguments why I should have drafted him. I was definitely tempted.
