No matter what the Royals do between now and April 3rd, fans can rejoice that baseball is back in session.

The KC Royals may not have all the answers right now, but who cares? Later today, real baseball will be happening!

While it’s no more than a very formalized month of scrimmage games, it’s a chance for fans to soak up as much of this positive Royals’ team energy as they possibly can. The players appear to be as hungry to win as ever and they certainly share in each others fun.

Even though the Royals’ real season doesn’t begin for another month, today is still a good day to be a Royals’ fan. At the end of the day, there is going to be a box score. A full game is going to be played.

Statistics are going to be analyzed and every little move a player makes is going to bring about all kinds of overreactions.

Wild speculation is going to abound as fans try and figure out these questions. That’s part of the fun after all.

At the end of the day, all of these things will shake out. The Royals will head into their match-up with the Mets on April 3rd and have all of these questions answered.

They’ll look to disprove the projection systems again and try and repeat as unlikely World Champions. The road to the finish line is a long one, and the journey starts this afternoon when Kyle Zimmer takes the mound and throws out the first pitch of the Royals’ season.
