KC Chiefs: Five Best Games Of 2015 Season
By Scott Dillon
Number 1: Chiefs 30 – Texans 0
The KC Chiefs second win on the season was a big one. Not only did they pitch the first shutout of Andy Reid‘s career, they ended a playoff win drought of 22 years.
This game was over before it even started with Knile Davis returning the opening kickoff fr 106 yards for a touchdown.
The Chiefs offense didn’t do much, but they did enough to be effective. Alex Smith finished the game 17-22 with one touchdown that came in the second half. While the game was never really in question, the touchdown pass put the game out of reach.

Until that second touchdown pass, Chiefs’ fans held their breath hoping this game wouldn’t have the same outcome as their last playoff game in 2013.
The Chiefs’ defense ended any threat of a comeback by forcing a total of five turnovers including four interceptions. One of those interceptions saved the shutout as Josh Mauga intercepted Brian Hoyer on the goal line.
The Chiefs dominated this game from start to finish and saw young receiver Chris Conley step up in place of an injured Maclin to make a tough touchdown catch.
The Chiefs dominance from the start of the game through the end showed their ability to finish and gives fans hope for a strong season next year. If Andy Reid can figure out how to read a clock, the Chiefs might just have a shot.
