KC Chiefs: Five Keys To Victory VS Houston Texans
By Scott Dillon
Kryptonite might work?
J.J Watt is the best defensive player in the league. He just got his cast removed and celebrated by racking up three sacks. It’s time for the offensive line to dig a little deeper and take solace knowing that if they can find a way to slow down J.J. Watt they’ve already beaten the best there is.
The problem with stopping him is figuring out how. The best bet for the Chiefs would be long, clock consuming drives. The more he’s on the field the more tired he’ll get. He is human after all, I think.

J.J. Watt is the star of that team and can change the outcome of a game in a second. Houston isn’t just a one trick pony, however. They also have a star of offense.
Deandre Hopkins put up a very good year and was among the league leaders in receiving yards. He has home run potential at any point in the game. The positive for the Chiefs is that his receptions have been limited against teams with an above average pass rush. If the Chiefs pass rush is healthy it can help limit the damage.
Houston has a good team and is most likely ready to dish out a little payback to a Kansas City sports team. The Chiefs will have to be firing on all cylinders come Saturday afternoon, but if they can execute they have a good shot at breaking the 20 year drought.
