Kansas City Chiefs Earn Playoff Berth In Week 16
The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the playoffs! The Chiefs defeated the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and then the Steelers lost shortly after, guaranteeing the Chiefs a spot in the postseason.
After beginning the season 1-5 and looking like a sure thing to be a top five pick, the KC Chiefs have completely turned their season around. They’re now guaranteed at least a Wildcard spot in the playoffs, and can still win the division too, depending on what happens with Denver on Monday Night Football.
The game against Cleveland wasn’t pretty, but it’s a win. That was key number one for this Kansas City team was to keep winning, and they did just that.
Not only did the KC Chiefs win in week 16, but the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Baltimore Ravens to give Kansas City a guaranteed spot in the postseason. The other team that Chiefs fans were watching, the New York Jets, won in overtime against the New England Patriots.

The Chiefs now are for sure going to the playoffs, but they have one more game next week before the postseason begins. The Oakland Raiders will be coming to Arrowhead Stadium for a week 17 showdown and the regular season finale for Kansas City.
The win against Cleveland proves even more important now because had the Chiefs lost, then the Jets would have moved ahead in the standings, and the Chiefs would have been fighting with the Steelers for the final spot in the postseason.
