Despite the poor play of Hammond, Harris, and the offensive line, the Kansas City Chiefs are still in prime position to make it to the playoffs.
After a 1-5 start, who would have thought this scenario was possible? I sure didn’t, and was already looking ahead to the 2016 NFL Draft.
Now, however, the Chiefs have their final two opponents at home and face the Browns and the Raiders, which is favorable indeed. The Chiefs are actually only one game behind the Denver Broncos for the AFC West division title, and that would be something if they could make that happen.

This team is finally becoming the team we thought they could be this season, and not that yucky 1-5 team that sucked. Every guy has stepped up and helped make something happen for this football team, and that’s the sign of a team that’s ready to take that next step.
With favorable match-ups over these next two weeks, the Chiefs can hopefully be riding into the playoffs on a ten-game winning streak to close out the 2015 regular season.
As of now, they’d travel to Houston to face the Texans in the Wildcard round of the playoffs. The Chiefs won that match-up in week one of the regular season, and the Texans since then have signed Brandon Weeden, and he’s their starting quarterback at the moment.

So yeah… If the KC Chiefs can make it to the playoffs, I like their odds of defeating a Houston Texans team whom they defeated once before and who have Weeden currently under center for them.
