KC Royals News: Free Agent Pitchers And Other Rumors
KC Royals news consists of the pitchers on the free agent market, and all of the other Royals rumors floating around.
The Kansas City Royals are coming off their first World Series title in 30 years and they are hoping to earn a second one in 2016. Obviously, not everyone can return to the team next season, but so far the Royals have made moves, mostly signing pitchers.
The Royals re-signed Chris Young, who pitched both in the rotation and out of the bullpen last season. They also signed Joakim Soria, who played with the team four years ago. They signed pitcher Dillon Gee as well. Gee spent time with the Mets last year.
While the KC Royals have made some moves, they still have yet to have that one BIG move. Whether that’ll be re-signing Alex Gordon or maybe bringing on a starting pitcher like Scott Kazmir, the Royals still have some moves to make.

The Kansas City Royals could use a boost to their starting rotation, as only Yordano Ventura and Edinson Volquez are sure things to start. The Royals have guys like Young, Danny Duffy, and Kris Medlen as well, all of whom could be apart of the rotation.
While the 2016 MLB season doesn’t begin until April, the off-season has been crazy with all of the hot stove talk. Hopefully the Royals make some sort of big move soon and get some pieces added to the reigning champion.

Royals Rumors: Royals Trying To Re-Sign Alex Gordon [KC Kingdom]
"Fortunately, there are good rumors floating around about Gordon and the Royals. Jon Heyman, a baseball insider for CBS Sports, mentioned that the KC Royals might have offered Gordon a four-year deal."
KC Royals Interested in Orioles Starter Wei-Yin Chen [Kings of Kauffman]
"While Chen would be a nice fit in the KC Royals rotation as a control pitcher who misses more bats than you would expect due to his 93 mph fastball and 92 mph sinker, I would prefer general manager Dayton Moore pony up the cash to bring back Alex Gordon if Chen can command anywhere close to his asking price."

The KC Royals’ main priorities are in the starting rotation and in the corner outfield spots. Even though those areas haven’t been addressed yet in free agency, Royals fans need to trust Dayton Moore in this situation.
