Hamilton has to be, without a doubt, the least known of the KU basketball head coaches.
Hamilton won five league championships and lost only one game three times. He won 67.9 percent of his games and finished his coaching career at Kansas with a 125-59 record.
He had just two losing seasons, but after going 90-22 in his first six years, winning the Missouri Valley five times, Hamilton posted a record of 35-37 in his last four season.
He resigned after the 1918-1919 season and retired from college coaching.
