None of the teams the Chiefs face in the last five weeks have records over .500.
Their toughest opponent record wise was the Bills, whom they handled this past Sunday by a score of 30-22. The Bills made a lot of mistakes in that one, and the Chiefs capitalized. They turned the ball over and missed a crucial extra point.

While Kansas City has a lot of injuries as of lately, they’re a deep football team. They were down to their last batch of offensive linemen, and still were able to protect Alex Smith. Charcandrick West couldn’t play due to a hamstring injury, and Spencer Ware stepped in and rushed for over 100 yards. Justin Houston went down, and Frank Zombo came in and played well.
Point being is that these Kansas City Chiefs are starting to look like the team we all though they could be this year… Not the lousy 1-5 team we were embarrassed to watch.
