The Kansas City Chiefs have now won five straight games and have moved above .500 for the first time since week one. It looked grim after losing the way they did against the Broncos, and even grimmer when they dropped five straight games, but hey… The Chiefs are right back in it now.
In fact, with the Pittsburgh Steelers falling in Seattle, the Chiefs now own the fifth spot in the playoffs, and as of now would play the winner of the AFC South (whether it be the Colts or the Texans).

It’s been a wild season, and I really doubted this team’s heart when they lost to Chicago in week five. Since then, they’ve really proven me wrong and never have I been so thrilled to be wrong about something.
The Chiefs have five games remaining in the season and all are against teams with records under .500. Realistically, if the Chiefs can win at least three more games, they should be a lock to make the playoffs. Of course, it’d be easier to just run the table though.
It’ll be interesting to see how this season plays out, but it’s been especially interesting to see these Chiefs fight back from a 1-5 record to a 6-5 record.
