Kansas State Football: Good, Bad, Ugly VS Texas Tech

This game really wasn’t good at all.
The Kansas State Wildcats haven’t led since they played TCU last month. They’ve allowed their opponent to run up the score and therefore have been forced to play catch up in every game.
This hasn’t been a good season for K-State, but there’s still some reason for optimism.
Joe Hubener is improving. The kid can do damage with his legs, as was evident with his performance last week. This week, the QB only ran for nine yards, but had THREE rushing touchdowns on the day. He also passed for 289 yards and two touchdowns with only one interception. He attempted 41 passes and only completed 19 of them, but this was a huge improvement.

If it weren’t for the abysmal play by the defense, the Cats would have had a chance in this one. Bill Snyder said it best in the Wichita Eagle after the game,
"“I am proud of a number of things this football team is doing, but there are some things that we just haven’t been able to improve at that are disheartening.” ~~~ “We have got to do a better job of starting ballgames better. It’s that simple,” Snyder said. “You go back and look — take your pick, the last five or six ballgames – we have not been able to be functional on the first drive. That puts you behind.”"
