It gets no easier for the KC Chiefs with a road test against the 3-0 Bengals.
The good news is the Chiefs get cornerback Sean Smith back at practice this week. The bad news is Smith’s suspension was brought on entirely by his own actions, and the damage he’s already done to the team isn’t something he can easily make up for.
The Bengals present one of the physical defensive fronts in the NFL, and the Kansas City Chiefs have allowed more sacks than any team in the NFL. If the Chiefs offensive line plays like it did Monday night, Jamaal Charles might have another frustrating day outside of the red zone.
Cincinnati has allowed just 56 points against in three games this season, so a low-scoring affair shouldn’t surprise anyone.
The Chiefs will come back to Arrowhead for a much-needed home game against the Chicago Bears. If Kansas City can find a way to win on the road this weekend, they’ll be back in business coming back home.
What positives did you see from the Chiefs game on Monday night?
